Getting Started
If you are registering for the Virginia Vine weekend you will be registered as a mobile bidder as long as you list your mobile phone number. If you are not attending the event, you can register for mobile bidding by CLICKING HERE to create an account and get started now.
Once bidding opens, you will receive a welcome text or email saying that bidding is now open. Follow the personalized link in the message to access the bidding page and start bidding!
Let The Bidding Begin!
Once logged into the Mobile Bidding page, you can browse packages by name, number, keyword or category. Find your favorite items and hit WATCH if you’re not quite ready to place a bid, QUICK BID to bid at the next increment, MAX BID to let the system do the work for you, or BUY NOW to outright purchase your selected package. You will receive a text message when you’ve been outbid.
An Auction Concierge Station & Mobile Bid Buddies will be available at the Virginia Vine Gala at StoneTower Winery for guests who need assistance. For bidders not attending the events, a Mobile Bidding Expert is available for assistance by email at aschroeder@jimmyv.org. You will receive a response within 24 hours.
Closing Times
Showcase and Silent Auction will close on April 27th, 2019. Check back for exact times.
LIVE AUCTION packages will be available as preview only on Online Bidding, and can be bid on by Gala attendees on Saturday, April 27th, or by proxy bidding.
Package Pickup
Bidders attending the Virginia Vine Gala will be expected to pick up items from redemption directly after the Gala.
Bidders not attending the event or who are unable to take home their winning packages at the end of the night will be contacted to arrange for pickup or shipping. If you’re unable to pick up, we are happy to ship your packages to you. Shipping costs must be covered by the winning bidder.
