GREAT GATSBY ONLINE BIDDING GUIDE

2019 Great Gatsby Silent Auction packages are available with mobile bidding to all supporters, whether you’re attending the Gala & Auction or supporting from home. Mobile bidding will be open on Saturday, April 13th from 6:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. EST. There is no cost to register to bid and YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT AT ANY OF THE EVENTS TO PARTICIPATE.

Getting Started

If you are registered for the Great Gatsby Gala, you will be registered as a mobile bidder if we have a credit card and mobile phone number on file for you. 

Once bidding opens, you will receive a welcome text or email saying that bidding is now open. Follow the personalized link in the message to access the bidding page and start bidding!

If you did not receive your personalized link or if you are not attending the event, you can register for mobile bidding by CLICKING HERE to create an account and get started now.

Let The Bidding Begin!

Once logged into the Mobile Bidding page, you can browse packages by name, number, keyword or category. Find your favorite items and hit WATCH if you’re not quite ready to place a bid, QUICK BID to bid at the next increment, MAX BID to let the system do the work for you, or BUY NOW to outright purchase your selected package. You will receive a text message when you’ve been outbid.

An Auction Concierge Station will be available at the Virginia Vine Gala at StoneTower Winery for guests who need assistance. For bidders not attending the events, a Mobile Bidding Expert is available for assistance by email at aschroeder@jimmyv.org. You will receive a response within 24 hours.

Closing Times

    Silent Auction will close on April 13th, 2019 at 10:30 p.m.

    Package Pickup

    Bidders attending the Great Gatsby Gala will be expected to pick up items from redemption directly after the Gala.

    Bidders not attending the event or who are unable to take home their winning packages at the end of the night will be contacted to arrange for pickup.
